VMH
participates in many area parades.
In 2003, the VMH Foundation funded
a group of volunteer clowns, The
Happy Healers, who represent VMH
with a float and marching group.
This group consists mostly of VMH
employees, plus a few community
members. Happy Healers wear clown
make-up, colorful medical garb
with their logo, or clown costumes
or logo T-shirts. They perform
an operation - extracting a rubber
chicken, fish, and other ridiculous
items from the patient. Other Healers
pass out stickers, band-aids, and
balloons made from surgical gloves.
Persons interested in becoming
a Happy Healer (no experience needed!)
should call 637-4219 or 637-4217
or email the VMH Marketing Office. email
