Aquafit Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Aqua Strength Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Boot Camp Thursdays, 4:15-5:00 p.m.

Butts & Guts Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00-4:45 p.m.

Dance Fitness- Mondays 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Golden Splash Tuesdays, Thursdays, 9:00-10:00 a.m. - Therapy Pool

Karate (Dr. Feltes) Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:15– 7:30 p.m. VMH Big Gym. Karate sessions are 3 months long. FEES- Platinum: $38; Gold $38; Standard/Community $75

Kick Boxing, Aerobic - Tuesdays (beginnner), Fridays (advanced) 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.

Kick Boxing, Full Contact - Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.

A.F.A.P. - People with Arthritis Can Exercise - (Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program) Bigley Pool Tues. & Thurs. 12:00-12:45 p.m. COST: $60 for 16-session punch card. ONGOING CLASS; JOIN ANY TIME!

Parent & Tot Water Class Thursdays 5:30-6:15 p.m.; VMH therapy pool.

SPINNING CLASSES

Spin Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 6:15 - 7:15 a.m. and (spin core) 8:30-9:30 a.m.;
Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 p.m.;
Tuesdays 5:15-6:00 p.m.

Total Pump - Tuesdays 8:30-9:30 a.m.; Saturdays, 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Tai-Chi - Mondays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Stretch - Wednesdays and Fridays 8:30-9:00 a.m.
(This is a free class.)

YOGA CLASSES:

Yogaa, Baptiste Power Vinyasa - Mondays and Thursdays 8:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:15-6:15 p.m; also Saturdays, 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., (2nd and 4th Saturday only); Wednesdays, 9:00-10:30 a.m.

Yoga Fit - Mondays and Thursdays 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Water Babies - Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00-9:00 a.m.

Schedule is subject to change. At least five participants are needed in order for a class to be held. You will be notified only if a class is cancelled.


Aqua Fit- A combination of cardio and strength training in the therapy pool.

Aqua Strength- Concentration primarily on core strength building exercises in the therapy pool.

Awareness Meditation- In this class we will practice a simple breath meditation that will expand your sense of awareness and equanimity, bringing a natural state of balance to mind, body, and spirit.

Boot Camp- a combination class, focusing on cardio, endurance, and flexibility training. Station drills using weights, BOSU balls, punching bags, jump ropes will be used.

Cardio-Kickboxing- Aerobic conditioning, endurance, and strength training combined with learning the proper form for kicks and punching.

Full-Contact Kickboxing- Learn the fundamentals and technical skills of kickboxing in a full contact class, protective gear required!

Golden Splash- Senior focused cardio and strength training exercise class in the therapy pool.

Hatha Yoga- This beginning Hatha yoga class is for any age or level, and it includes a basic routine of asanas and stretches, along with emphasis on attentive breathing and meditation. Each session also includes a bit of the history or philosophy of yoga as a lifestyle.

Karate- Beginner to top ranked black belts train together; learn the fundamental and advanced skills, testing for belt levels, quarterly classes.

Pilates- a total body toning, strong core development and increased flexibility; mats and stability ball class format.

Power Vinyasa Yoga- practiced in a heated room, this flowing asana practice follows primarily the Baron Baptiste flow.

Qi-Gong- a form of martial arts practiced to develop inner harmony, body and breath awareness, strength and endurance.

Spin/Indoor cycling- a group cardiovascular exercise class done on stationary bicycles, the instructor takes you through simulated road courses while you listen to music.

Stretch- increases your range of motion in the major joint areas, improves balance and coordination, and increases breath awareness.

Tai Chi- a form of martial arts that develops inner strength, concentration, breath and Chi awareness.

Yoga-Fit- Hatha Yoga beginning practice with emphasis on strength, balance and flexibility.

Water Babies- Parent and infant class in the warm therapy pool, great for bonding and post partum conditioning.
