The VMH WELLNESS CENTER offers several types of memberships. All memberships require a onetime enrollment fee.

Are you someone who knows you should exercise but does not know how to begin? Do you want to improve your WELLNESS or try something new? The VMH WELLNESS CENTER provides a place for you to reach all your WELLNESS goals. Explore this site to learn about the programs, facilities, and classes offered by the VMH WELLNESS Center.

To become a VMH WELLNESS CENTER member, stop by or call 637-4290. You will be asked to complete a simple health questionnaire and health screening (now available online) to ensure your safety while exercising.

As a new member, you will have the opportunity to meet with an exercise specialist to address your health and exercise history, goals, and special concerns.

You will also have the option of participating in a physical WELLNESS assessment. Based on this assessment, we will develop an individual exercise program for you.

Staff will also work with you individually during an aerobic and weight training orientation to help you get started on the right foot.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE
A Gold Membership is an excellent choice for anyone who has made a commitment to a year-round exercise program, likes to work out two times a week or more, plays racquetball, or enjoys group exercise. A one-year contract is required the first year, then continues month to month. Pay in full for a 10% discount (single $384, $345 with discount; family $672, $605 with discount) or pay through monthly *EFT fee:

PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP
 Now you have three options with the VMH Wellness Center Platinum memberships. Option one is for individuals and families primarily interested in fitness activities. Option two is for individuals and families who primarily focus on lifestyle change. Option three is for individuals or families who use swimming as fitness and recreation on a regular basis.

Platinum-Fitness maintains the original membership benefits: unlimited fitness center visits, unlimited racquetball sessions, unlimited BPV Yoga classes, free group exercise classes, and free lap swimming at Bigley Pool.

Platinum “EARN for Life” offers members: unlimited fitness center visits, unlimited racquetball, 12 individual consultations during the year with the VMH clinical dietician, free attendance to the EARN Program weekly lectures, award points for exercising and logging in to Motivation software, and two 1-2-1 personal training sessions with a staff trainer.

Platinum-Swim offers unlimited fitness center access, full Bigley Pool membership, and discounted fees ($2) on group exercise classes. Karate and independent yoga classes are excluded.

One time enrollment fee: $60 individual, $85 family
Membership annual fee: $660 individual, $1080 family

Special Membership Incentives:

If you pay in full on your first ever visit to the Wellness Center you will receive a 15% discount. $561 individual, $918 family. If you become a member after your first visit and you pay in full you will receive a 10% discount. $594 individual, $972 family. If you prefer to pay monthly, electronic fund transfer will be activated and you will pay $55 per month for 12 months as an individual, or $90 for 12 months as a family.

If you have completed the EARN Program, $100 will be credited to your new “EARN for LIFE” Platinum membership, and half of the enrollment fee will be waived as well.

  ACTIVE SENIORS
Active Seniors is a fun way for healthy and independent seniors age 65 years and older to participate in a safe exercise program. To ensure your safety, a physician’s referral is required before beginning to exercise. Call the VMH WELLNESS Center to send a referral form to your provider, or download one from this website (see left sidebar). Once we have the referral we will call you to set up an initial appointment. You have the option of participating in a senior WELLNESS assessment to better determine your WELLNESS needs. Staff will also demonstrate how to use the aerobic and strength training equipment.
