Cheryl Cade,
COTA -
Cheryl grew up in Northern Minnesota and currently lives in rural Westby with her husband and family. She graduated from technical college in Minneapolis in 1985 and began working at VMH in 1988. Her career interests include working with children in the school system, hand injuries, as well as orthopedic patients.

Amy Evenstad, OT-
Amy began her OT career as a COTA in 1998. She then received her OTR degree from UW-LaCrosse in 2007. She has worked in long term care facilities and a rural hospital. She has joined VMH to assist with OT services on the weekends. Her career interest areas are hand rehab, geriatric orthopedic injuries and industrial rehab. She also is lymphedema certified. Amy grew up in the Westby area and now resides in rural Coon Valley with her husband and daughter. She enjoys fishing, gardening, making cards and scrapbooking.

Andrea "Andi" Yttri, COTA -"Andi" received her degree as a COTA from Madison Area Tech. College in 1995. She has been employed with VMH since 2001. Andi enjoys working with a variety of patients. She lives outside of Westby with her husband & 2 children. 


Jen Pedersen, OT

Jen Pedersen graduated from UW-Madison in 2001 then moved to the Seattle area. She worked there for almost three years and then did travel therapy contracts in Maine, Tucson, & Salt Lake City. She joined the VMH OT dept. in July 2005. She provides OT services in local schools as well as at VMH. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with family & friends.


Jenelle Boyer, OT -
Jenelle grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota, south of Minneapolis, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1994. She worked in the Twin Cities for 8 years prior to moving to Viroqua, and joining Vernon Memorial in 2002.  Jenelle enjoys working with a wide range of patients, currently specializing in Home Health and Hospice.  Jenelle has special interests and education in cognition, vision, and recovery after strokes and head injuries, and is Lymphededema certified.  Jenelle enjoys spending time with her two children, husband, and community, and is actively involved in Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School as the president of the Board of Directors.


Heather Wuolle, COTA
Heather received her degree as a COTA from WWTC in 1999 and began working at VMH in 2005. She enjoys working with a variety of patients including lymphedema & chronic pain. She lives in Genoa near family & friends.

Claire Sheldon, OT-
Claire lives in the Viroqua area with her husband and three youngest children. She grew up in a small town in the Milwaukee area. Claire graduated from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee in 1980. Her oldest son has a physical disability, but is now living in his own home. Claire enjoys working in Home Health.

Kim Simonson,
OT -
Kim is originally from Westby and she and her family now live near Viroqua. Kim graduated from Concordia University-Wisconsin in 1997. In addition to working with patients at VMH, Kim also provides OT to local school districts.


Ilana Pestcoe,
OT -
Ilana Pestcoe grew up in Philadelphia and went to O.T. school at New York University. She has been practicing O.T. since 1981. Her specialty area is Lymphedema (chronic swelling). Her practice with edema has inspired other work with chronic pain, headaches, soft tissue disorders, and scar reduction. She enjoys the full range of O.T. practice from strokes and arthritis to fractures and pediatrics. She has lived in rural Gays Mills on a land cooperative with her husband and son since 1983.


Traci Waters,
OT -
Traci lives in Onalaska near family and friends. She graduated from Concordia University-Wisconsin in 1999, and has been employed at VMH since 2000. Traci enjoys working with a variety of patients at VMH, and has received additional training and certifications in outpatient therapy and lymphedema treatment.


Jodi Langenhorst,
OT -
Jodi Langenhorst received her B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from U.W. Madison in 1986. She has been employed at VMH as the Occupational Therapy Manager since 1988. Although she enjoys the variety of patient contacts she experiences at VMH, she has a special affinity for treating patients with hand or upper extremity conditions. Jodi grew up in the Westby area, and currently lives in La Crosse with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

colleen RuebsamenColleen Ruebsamen OTR- Colleen graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2002. Prior to employment at VMH, the majority of her work experience occurred at a small rural hospital on the Oregon coast. Her work experience includes practice in outpatient upper extremity rehabilitation, home health, inpatient geriatrics and Iserhagen work systems program. Colleen enjoys working with a variety of patients with a particular interest in upper extremity and hand rehabilitation. Colleen lives outside of Viroqua with her husband, daughter & two dogs. She enjoys reading, movies/theatre, knitting, drawing and hiking.
