Career Interests: Geriatrics; Home Health Care; Fall prevention and promotion of activity in older persons/elderly. Also: women's health and prevention, hospice care and physical therapy. Hobbies: I love to be outdoors with my husband, Jeff and yellow Lab dog, Bailey. I enjoy gardening, reading, bicycling, and running/walking. Career Interests: Women's issues including bladder health and continence. I enjoy working with all age groups and types of problems - that's why working at VMH is great - we see it all. Hobbies: walking, sports, Antique Roadshow, HGTV, reading, spending time with my children, outdoor activities. Words of Wisdom: "Prevention is key. But if you are injured, physical therapy is a great facilitator for your road to recovery."
Jim Bacon MS, PT
Graduate from UW-LaCrosse in 1989 with a Masters Degree in Human Performance. Returned to UW-LaCrosse in 1994 for Physical Therapy. Enjoys working with orthopedic patients with special interests in Manual Therapy (Myofascial Release) and gait biomechanics with custom orthotic prescription. Hobbies include motorcycles, backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country and water skiing.
