Claire graduated from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1980. Claire is an Assistive Technology Practitioner and is certified in lymphedema treatment.

Career Interests: 

She has been employed at VMH since 1989.  Claire currently provides services to hospital inpatients.  She also provides home-based safety or mobility assessments, identifying wheelchair or adaptive equipment needs.

Heather received her degree as a COTA from Western Wisconsin Technical College in 1999 and began working at VMH in 2005. She is certified in lymphedema treatment and is a Certified WATSU practitioner.

Career Interests: 

She enjoys working with a variety of patients, including lymphedema, chronic pain, and patients requiring aquatic therapy.  Heather's current focus includes working with orthopaedic inpatients and assisting with our pre-operative teaching program.

Colleen graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 2002.   She is certified in lymphedema treatment.

Career Interests: 

Her work experience includes practice in outpatient upper extremity rehabilitation, home health, inpatient geriatrics, and the lserhagen work systems program. Colleen enjoys working with a variety of patients and has a particular interest in upper extremity and hand rehabilitation.  She is currently working toward her professional goal of becoming a certified hand therapist (CHT).

Amy began her OT career as a COTA in 1998. Amy has worked in long-term care facilities and a rural hospital. Her career interest areas are hand rehab, geriatric orthopaedic injuries, and industrial rehab.

Ilana Pestcoe went to occuptaional therapy school at New York University. She has been practicing since 1981.

Career Interests: 

Her specialty area is Lymphedema (chronic swelling). She is certified in lymphedema treatment.  Her practice with edema has inspired other work with chronic pain, headaches, soft tissue disorders, and scar reduction. She enjoys the full range of occupational therapy practice from strokes and arthritis to fractures and pediatrics.
