Infusion Therapy

Vernon Memorial Healthcare offers infusion therapy services to improve the quality of life for patients who require fluid and injectable medications on an outpatient basis. Patients who receive infusion therapy represent a variety of ages, diagnoses and conditions. Infusion Services is located on the third floor of the Viroqua Area Medical Office Building.

The following treatments may be administered: antibiotics/anti-infective agents, immune system modifying drugs, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and fluid replacements, single dose injections/infusions, hydration therapy, Remicade infusion, Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) and blood transfusions. A physician’s order is required for infusion therapy.
