Vernon Memorial Healthcare (VMH) has come to the difficult decision to permanently close the VMH Wellness Center and VMH Grille.

Both of these entities have been closed since the beginning of the COVID pandemic in an effort to keep our employees and community members safe.  The decision has been made to permanently close these two areas of service based on the financial and safety complexities that come from operating each area in the midst of the difficult global health and financial climate that we are in.


Health, wellness, and prevention remain a part of the VMH strategic plan.  VMH will continue to explore new ways to support and collaborate with our employees, businesses, and communities that highlight the importance of health and wellness.
 

Members with Pre-Paid Memberships:
We are currently working through the process to provide members with pre-paid memberships the appropriate refund amount for the remainder of their membership based on our March 16 closure due to our response to the COVID 19 pandemic. 
 

Since each account is different, each account/membership must be examined on an individual basis.  We need to communicate with a high volume of members in regards to their accounts, so please allow us the time and opportunity to contact you, rather than reaching out to us during this transition period.    
 

Gift Certificates:
We will also be reviewing gift certificates that were purchased on or after December 1, 2019.  A refund will be provided to those gift certificates that qualify.
 

Equipment:
We have received many inquiries regarding the exercise equipment.  We will be determining in the next few weeks what options exist for handling these requests.

We will be closing out all accounts by June 30.  We appreciate your patience during this time and most of all your patronage and the relationships we’ve built with each other over the years.
