Bonnie (Bagstad) Anderson, MS, is originally from Westby, Wisconsin. She received her B.S. Degrees in 1980 in Health Education and Art Education. She obtained her Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse Exercise and Sports Science Program in Human Performance - Cardiac Rehabilitation in 1990.
Her professional certifications include the American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Specialist, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, Heartsaver - Basic Life Support and Heartsaver - AED. She is a member of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, the Wisconsin Society of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Health and Rehabilitation (WISCPHR), and the American College of Sports Medicine.Bonnie has served several years as Northwestern Wisconsin Regional Representative to the Wisconsin Society of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Health and Rehabilitation, has been a board member, and has served as President of the organization.
In 2005, Bonnie was honored with the WISCPHR Award of Excellence for her professional leadership and involvement with the state organization. Bonnie has worked in the field of Health Education since 1980, began working at VMH in May of 1986, and has been the Manager of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program since 1990.
