Educating our future healthcare workers is an important goal of the VMH Foundation and the organization. One of the main goals of the scholarship program is to inspire and assist the future healthcare workforce. The Scholarship program is a joint venture with the Friends of VMH.
Together, we provided ten scholarships in 2020-2021 totaling $20,000. With these scholarships, we were able to give support to future physicians, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare administrators, public health, and community health educators. We are very hopeful our recipients will continue in service leadership and continue the care of their communities, near and far.
