Shelby Foley, LCSW, CSAC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor with extensive experience in both therapy and crisis intervention. She is passionate about supporting adults through mental health challenges and substance use disorders, providing care that is compassionate, individualized, and empowering. 

Shelby earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed the university’s Substance Use Disorder Counselor Certificate Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ripon College. 

Her clinical experience includes roles as a mental health and substance use therapist and service facilitator. She has provided outpatient therapy, conducted comprehensive assessments, developed treatment plans, and collaborated with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to support recovery. Shelby has also provided crisis response services, where she worked directly with individuals experiencing acute mental health or substance use crises to ensure their safety and connection to resources. 

Shelby’s approach to care is rooted in partnership—she believes in meeting people where they are, building trust, and guiding them toward meaningful recovery goals. With a balance of clinical expertise and compassion, she helps individuals gain the tools and support needed to create lasting change.
