Dr. Kimberly Perttu is an experienced family medicine physician with obstetrics at Vernon Health, providing full-scope care for patients of all ages. She see patients in a variety of care settings including, hospital, labor and delivery and clinic. Her clinical practice includes prenatal care, labor and delivery—including C-sections—and comprehensive family care. Her special interest include women’s health, obstetrics, pediatrics and preventive care. She is committed to offering compassionate, individualized care that supports patients through every stage of life.
Dr. Perttu earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Marquette General Family Medicine Residency Program in Marquette, Michigan. She is board certified in family medicine through the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) and maintains certifications in ALSO, NRP, ACLS, and PALS.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Perttu has held leadership roles including Medical Director and Vice President of Medical Staff, demonstrating her dedication to quality, safety, and the advancement of patient-centered care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys outdoor recreation with her husband and two sons. Her interests include running, rucking, and camping—activities that connect her to the natural beauty of the region. Dr. Perttu is excited to be part of the Vernon Health community and looks forward to building strong, lasting relationships with the patients she serves.
