Miranda Delmedico is a physician assistant at Vernon Health who brings a fresh perspective and unwavering ambition to patient care. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through a collaborative, team-based approach and is dedicated to exploring all appropriate avenues for overall well-being. Miranda prioritizes ensuring every individual feels heard and understood and aims to empower patients through comprehensive education related to diagnoses, treatment plans, and a strong emphasis on preventive care.
Miranda earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University, where she completed extensive didactic and clinical training across a wide range of specialties. Her clinical experience includes family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, dermatology, and behavioral and mental health. This broad foundation allows her to provide adaptable, thoughtful care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Prior to her clinical training, Miranda gained valuable hands-on healthcare experience working as a perioperative technician, certified nursing assistant, and medication technician. These roles strengthened her clinical skills while reinforcing the importance of compassionate care, clear communication, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Miranda values continuity of care and looks forward to growing alongside her patients and their families over many years. She is dedicated to building lasting relationships and supporting individuals as their healthcare needs and life circumstances evolve through every stage of life.
Hobbies: Outside of work, Miranda enjoys cooking and baking, exercising, reading, and staying busy with interior design and home renovation projects. She also values spending time with her husband, family, and friends and enjoys traveling and being outdoors, whether boating, skiing, or joining her husband on hunting and fishing outings.
